Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the provision of catering and event services by Rosemary Events and Catering ("we," "our," or "us"). By booking our services, you agree to the following terms.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Client Cancellations:

    • If the client cancels 30 days or more before the event date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded, the other 50% is non-refundable.

    • If the client cancels within 30 days of the event date, the entire deposit is non-refundable.

    • If the event is cancelled with in 1 week or less of the event, the client is responsible for full payment of the event unless the event is rescheduled.

    • If the event is rescheduled, the original deposit will be retained, and a new deposit will be required for the new date.

3. Menu Changes

Final menu choices must be confirmed at least 2 weeks before the event. Changes after this point may incur additional charges. Menu adjustments due to dietary requirements will be accommodated where possible but must be communicated in advance.

4. Guest Count

The final guest count must be provided no later than 1 week before the event. This number will be the minimum charged, regardless of any decrease in attendance. Any increase in guest count after confirmation is subject to approval and additional charges.

5. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

We will accommodate dietary requirements as best as possible but must be informed of any allergies or special needs at least 1 week in advance. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens in our kitchens or on-site.

6. Event Timings

We will adhere to agreed event timings to the best of our ability. Any significant delays caused by the client or venue may result in additional charges.

7. Staffing

Our service includes staff for the duration of the event as specified in the contract. Additional hours or staff required due to event delays or changes will be charged accordingly.

8. Equipment and Rentals

If additional equipment (e.g., tables, chairs, bar setup) is required for your event, this will be sourced and charged separately. Any damages to hired equipment caused by guests will be the responsibility of the client.

9. Liability

Rosemary Events and Catering will not be held liable for:

  • Any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from the event unless caused by our negligence.

  • Any delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, venue issues).

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be held responsible for any failure to provide services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, or any unforeseen event that renders our services impossible or impractical.

11. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing access to the venue at agreed times for setup and breakdown.

  • Ensuring the venue has appropriate facilities for catering services.

  • Any licenses or permissions required for serving alcohol or operating the event.

12. Alcohol and Bar Services

If bar services are provided, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure proper licensing is in place. We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest displaying inappropriate behavior.

13. Photography and Promotion

We reserve the right to use photographs from your event for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing by the client prior to the event.

14. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to you in writing prior to your event.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
